Rhubarb root has been found to be a protective mechanism, strengthening the intestinal barrier.*

Research reveals that Vitamin A has a strengthening effect on the immune system.* Milk Thistle has a long history in traditional medicine of protecting against liver-damaging toxins due to the active flavonoid, silymarin.* This flavonoid has been shown to exhibit antioxidant properties as well.*
